Yes, each camp is catered to serve a particular age group. The boys youth camp “United to Serve” accommodates ages 14-17 years. The girl’s youth camp “Unearthing the Gem Within Her” serves ages 13-16 years. And the senior camp “Rekindling the Spirit” serves both males and females between the ages of 18-35 years.

All registration will be online. There will be absolutely no on-site registrations on the day of the retreat (we are very serious about this and will not let anyone arrive at the site and register).

Yes, you will not be admitted to the retreat unless all questions are completed thoroughly. By receiving your thorough answers, we will be better enabled to cater the retreat to the attendees. Incomplete applications may delay admittance into the camp.

No, all the sisters are asked to dress Islamically at all times in case an emergency may arise.

The age range for registrants has been set at 18-35 years old for the senior camp “Rekindling the Spirit”, the sisters youth camp “Unearthing the Gem Within Her” is targeted for the ages of 13-16 years old, and the brothers youth camp “United to Serve” is targeted for the ages of 14-17 years old; as that is the target demographic these retreats hope to inspire. However, exceptions will be made to this general age limit on a case-by-case basis, and those both slightly older and slightly younger are still encouraged to apply.

No, there will be no entering or exiting the camp once everyone has arrived. We ask that parents not visit the campsite.

Yes, the Camp 313 phone will be available to use with permission from the camp leaders.

No, there will be no cell phone use when the camp is taking place. All cell phones and electronics will be collected during the entrance into the camp and will be given back when campers are getting ready to leave.

For the sister youth “Unearthing the Gem Within Her” and brothers youth “ United to Serve” camps the fee covers food, transportation, accommodations and sports and activities. As for the senior camp “Rekindling the Spirit” the fee will cover food, accommodations, lectures, workshops and sports/activities. Transportation will NOT be covered for the senior camp “Rekindling the Spirit”.

Your registration will not be complete until both the registration form is filled out and payment is made. As a result, registering without paying, or vice-versa, will prevent individuals from attending the retreat.

There will be no refunds. Exceptions will be made only in the case of an absolute (i.e. life-altering) emergency.

For the brothers youth camp “United to Serve”, and the girl’s youth camp “Unearthing the Gem Within Her” buses will be used to transport the campers to and from the camp. For the senior camp “Rekindling the Spirit” transportation will not be provided except for Canadian riders who make arrangements with us. Everyone is encouraged to carpool with other campers. Each camper is responsible to arrive at the campsite no later than the first day of camp.

We will be meeting at 10:00 AM at the Islamic Library of Dearborn on the Thursday of the camp date and be returning Sunday that same weekend at the Islamic Library of Dearborn by 3:30 PM. The Islamic Library of Dearborn is located on 7801 Chase Rd. Dearborn, MI 48126

Yes, sleeping arrangement are separated by gender not families.

For the boy’s youth camp “United to Serve” the limit for campers will be at 70 campers total. The girl’s youth camp “Unearthing the Gem Within Her” will have a limit of 30 campers total. And the senior camp “Rekindling the Spirit” will have a total of 140 campers.

The senior camp “Rekindling the Spirit” will include many sports activities such as basketball, soccer, tennis, volleyball, zip-line, wall climbing, kayaking, swimming and tubing. It will also include many spiritual sessions with the scholars, one on one session, discussion forums, and much more. While the boys and girls youth camps will include sporting tournaments, discussions, campfire, skits, hiking and many other interactive and team building activities along with many spiritual guided activities led by our esteemed scholars.

Halal food will be served at the retreat. All meals will be provided, and are included in registration fee.
